When you use Learn With Masha, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name and email address when you book a lesson or submit a contact form. We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, time spent on the site, and device information, to help us improve the platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve our services, respond to your inquiries, schedule lessons, and send relevant educational content if you have opted in. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
AI-Powered Features
Our AI practice tools (conversation, writing assistant, pronunciation guide, and interview prep) process your inputs through OpenAI's API to generate responses. The text you submit to these tools is sent to OpenAI for processing but is not used to train their models. We do not store conversation histories from AI practice sessions beyond the current browser session.
Cookies
We use essential storage for account access and requested website functions. We use first-party analytics and PostHog to understand page and feature use. Minimal measurement uses a temporary visit context; persistent browser journey measurement is optional. A separate account-linking choice lets authorized administrators view your activity across permitted signed-in visits, including across devices where you enable it. We send an opaque account identifier to PostHog, not your account name or email. Turning this choice off stops future linking; it does not delete previously recorded activity. Analytics excludes typed learner content and recordings. You can change your analytics preferences below. PostHog data may be processed outside Canada. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Analytics preferences
Minimal measurement helps us understand page and feature use using a temporary visit context that resets when you reload. Optional journey measurement remembers a browser identifier to understand return visits. We do not record your screen, typed answers, conversations, or audio. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control override these settings.
